Exchange Options
We are an organization that specializes in long-term language exchange programs, with a maximum duration of six months. However, we do offer shorter stays for those who prefer a shorter experience. We understand that traveling abroad can be intimidating, but our programs are designed to help you get through the process in an efficient and enjoyable manner. Our goal is to provide you with total immersion in the language and culture of your host country, while offering an enriching and unforgettable educational experience. Long Stays Abroad: Flagship Program for Fluency in a Foreign Language
Our flagship long-stay program gives young people a unique experience abroad by spending up to a year together. Each young person stays in a different country for an entire semester and then lives with their new friend's family for six months. Even without prior knowledge of the target language, upon their return they are able to speak it fluently. The bonds created between the young people and the families during their stay are strong and last a lifetime.
Due to school schedules, these long programs are most appropriate for youths between the ages of 10 and 14. This may seem young to you, but it is actually the best time for your child to learn (absorb) a new language. It's also the time when they are building their character and independence. Sending him or her away from you for six months is an act of love for which he or she will be eternally grateful.
Short Stays Abroad: Program to Acquire a Good Language Base
Six-month exchanges are great experiences that allow children to truly bond, but some families or youths are intimidated by the length of the exchange. Some parents are also not convinced by the "challenge" of hosting another child for six months. They feel more comfortable with shorter periods. An experience of a few weeks or months abroad is already a good thing and these young people will be able to discover that they are capable of succeeding! It is a first step in creating a bond with a foreign family and a foreign child.
The programs offered are best suited for young people between the ages of 14-15 who are not yet preparing for the baccalaureate or any other degree. They are an excellent preparation for upcoming exams.
Summer Stays Abroad: Program to Open up to Cultural Differences
The 3-week or 6-week exchanges are ideal for children who do not have the opportunity to go away for long periods of time. These courses allow children to discover a new culture and a new country.
Summer exchanges are suitable for all ages who are not ready to participate in longer stays or who have obligations that prevent them from traveling for more than 3 to 6 weeks.
